How the chip works
AssetCellar identifies its NFC tags as NTAG213. A compatible smartphone reads the tag and opens the linked bottle experience. NFC is a close range connection; if your phone does not respond, check that NFC is enabled and move the phone slowly around the tag.
Seal, identifier and claim code
AssetCellar’s published claim instructions ask the collector to check the seal, tap the NFC tag and enter the hidden code for an unclaimed bottle. Follow the instructions shown for the specific bottle. A manual serial entry option is available on AssetCellar’s claim page.
AssetCellar says claiming marks a bottle as opened and records the claim. Read the bottle record and instructions before breaking the seal. This website does not claim bottles or connect a wallet on your behalf.
